I am an aspiring Cyber Security Professional, who enjoys working
on their homelab, and learn as much as I can in tech.
What led me here?
Basically, I have used a computer my whole life and was not sure of what I exactly wanted up until I pursued my certificate IV in Cyber Security. Since then I have been addicted to configuring and securing my home network, and slowly setting up my home lab so that not only me but my family can enjoy what I create.
Where am I from?
My family coming to Australia in the 60's from Italy, brought diversity in my early childhood in Sydney. As I turned 18 I moved to Canberra to study a Diploma of Science at the University of Canberra. I then moved back to Sydney to stay with my family and moved to Melbourne to stay with my father, which is where I met my partner. Through this, I am now pursuing a long term career in what I love doing and want to settle in.
My Hobbies
Ever since getting started in Cyber Security, I have been working tirelessly to learn and understand the core functionality of running, maintaining and optimising a server. Through this I have been able to teach myself some fundamental parts of IT such as coding in HTML for this resume! Many more things including, navigating and configuring a Linux environment, network configuration and security, python coding, permission settings, NAS configuraiton, Cloud storage, home media, and this list is ever growing due to my passions for this industry!
